The Mom Minus Dad yahoo group is an online support network for adult sons and daughters of a newly widowed mother or father. If you have recently lost a parent and seek resources, support and advice for balancing your life with a newly widowed parent, try the group. You can opt out at any time if you find it doesn’t suit your needs. You can use this forum to throw out questions to the group, gather new ideas, connect with other adults who have similar parent loss experiences, or dig up new resources to help you balance your life with a newly widowed parent.
What is the foundation of this group?
I formed this group because of peaked interest in online support resources by readers of my book Mom Minus Dad: The Essential Resource Guide for Busy Adults with a Newly Widowed Parent (published May 2008). Mom Minus Dad is the only resource guide available with more than 500 resources to assist adult sons and daughters with life balance after the loss of a parent. Mom Minus Dad is available at:

How It Works
Yahoo Groups are what is called a “Mailing List” or “Listserv” online group. A mailing list or listserv is a private e-mail subscription in which each subscriber receives a separate copy, via e-mail, of each message that is posted.
